GLENDALE, AZ (KPHO) -

It has been 10 days since Jhessye Shockley's family and friends have seen her.

Her family is still out every day looking for the 5 year old. Jhessye's grandfather has been handing out fliers to drivers in the Glendale neighborhood where she was last seen.

He told CBS 5 he's doing what he can to spread the word, anything to bring his princess back home.

"I'm trying to stay focused," Jesse Johnson said. "Get me some rest, and get back up and do it again. It's the only thing I can do."

CBS 5 News partnered with Fed Ex office print shop at 20th Street and Camelback to now have some 10,000 fliers available to help widen the search for Jhessye.

Experts tell CBS 5 that with each passing day the odds lessen of finding Jhessye safe and sound.

Meanwhile, friends and family of Jhessye left her neighborhood and made their way to the State Capitol Thursday hoping to get the governor's attention.

Jhessye's grandmother, Shirley Johnson, says she's planning a rally at the state capitol next week. It's set for 2 p.m. Monday.

She says the case is being ignored by the national media because Jhessye is black.

She hopes state leaders like Gov. Jan Brewer show up at the rally and help call more attention to the search for Jhessye.

If you have information on Jhessye's whereabouts, you're asked to call the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-HELP.
