About Me

• My name is Anne-Marie.
• I read lots about everything, except mushy love stories.
• I watch movies - the scarier and bloodier the better.
• I have an eclectic range of musical likes - from acapella to heavy metal to industrial to techno to chanting to game soundtracks to classical to jazz to R&B and everything in between EXCEPT COUNTRY.
• I can read music and can play a large variety of musical instruments - keyboard, piano, organ, flute, piccolo, clarinet, alto/tenor/baritone saxophone, oboe, percussion, but I can't sing or dance.
• I lift weights and exercise more often than not.
• I take my vitamins daily and eat mostly healthy - with the very occassional treat of fast food, sour candies & chocolate, pizza or baked goods - cookies and cakes!
• I hate talking on the phone.
• I draw fantasy beings and creatures - faeries and fey, dwarves and gnomes, giants and superheroes, elves and monsters, wizards and witches, the mythical and the darkly imagined.
• I draw landscapes - both earthly and alien sci-fi.
• I can tell stories of make believe heroes and heroines in far away places.
• I love to cook and bake and will be experimenting with candies and cake decorating soon.
• I work in a casino, as a Pastry Chef.
• I hate thunderstorms and lightning.
• I play video games - FPS, RPG and MMORPG. I also like to play board games, puzzles, text based PC games and strategy types.
• I also like playing cards, bowling, rollerblading, swimming in warm salty ocean water, being a beach bum, watching movies at the theater, plays, musicals and taking walks.
• I love dogs, snakes and lizards and all baby animals/reptiles, tolerate cats and loathe hairy spiders.
• If the TV is on: it's to watch CSI, Law & Order, MMA/UFC fights, Hockey, Football, Boxing, Discovery/History/Learning Channel, South Park, Drawn Together, Code Monkeys.
• Zombie and Vampire movies are a must watch weakness no matter how bad they are.
• I tend to be: impatient, perfectionistic, detail oriented, demanding of perfection in others, easily irritated by silly/stupid/thoughtless questions and brainless people.
